Halloween, it was a child's holiday. A fantastical pointless day in which people completely disregarded the origins of the days traditions to dress up and acquire candy from strangers. If anyone had actually bothered to delve into the background of the day, they might not be so overly excited to dress up. All hollows eve, the night the portal between life and the after life opened allowing the dead to walk among the living, people dressed up as ghouls and ghost to protect themselves according to most history. Yet people neglected to learn these things or ignored them if they did know already...all so they can dress up and consume sugar.
Sherlock sat on his chair tapping his fingers against the arm rest, one leg crossed over the other as he considered these things. He could hear the children laughing and squealing down on the street and he tried his best to ignore them. he'd been in the same place almost all evening.
(Y/N) had elected to spend the evening "out on the town," as she said, with friends. She had put on a pair of fish net stockings, a pair of very short, very tight shorts and a long-sleeved black top; paired with a her black high heels as well as a set of ridiculous cat ears and a stupid tail. When she emerged from their shared bedroom in the outfit, he was confused as to how he felt. The out fit was most definitely ascetically pleasing, but that thought in it's self caused a bolt of jealousy to run down his spine; the idea of other men finding her as attractive as he did at the moment concerned him, but in the end despite enjoying her costume he was irritated by the idea that a woman such as herself would give in to the foolish holiday tradition and dress up.
"You look ridiculous." He had commented as she put her coat on.
"Thanks Sherlock."
"I'm trying to help you (Y/N)." He insisted, which only caused her to laugh.
"well thank-you for your concern." She grinned before stepping out of the flat.
"I'll be home around eleven!" she added from the stairwell.
Two and half hours later Sherlock sat, thinking about the holiday, and (Y/N) and her costume.
Half an hour after that (Y/N) traipsed in at eleven o'clock on the dot.
"Did you enjoy yourself." Sherlock asked, trying his best to be polite and caring as she urged him to do so often.
"I did." She smiled. "Everyone like my costume."
"And who do you mean by 'everyone',"
"I don't know all of them, the people at the party,Sherlock."
"Oh, were any of these said people heterosexual males?"
"Sherlock, are you jealous?" She giggled crossing the room to him.
"No."
"You are! You think I look hot don't you?" She asked situating herself on his lap.
"You're being illogical right now, why would I be jealous?"
"I already said, you think I'm hot."
"No."
"You think I'm cute, at least."
He didn't respond.
"Ah! so you admit it! You think I look cute."
Once again he had no response.
"Just tell me I'm cute."
"I will do no such thing, I have no urge what so ever to contribute to your ego, it's big enough as it is."
"Play fair Sherlock, tell me I'm cute." She said kissing his cheek.
"You're cute."
"Thank-you Sherlock." she smirked standing up and walking down the hall.
"Hey Sherlock, do you want to help me get this costume off?" She called from the bedroom a moment later.
He jumped from his seat without hesitation.
He thought she was much more than cute, he just wouldn't admit it.

The sound of soft footsteps were heard as a small child ran up the steps of 221b. It wasn't a client, it was Sherlock Holmes' young daughter. The story behind how he got a daughter wasn't really a simple one. When he was on a case, he had found a young girl who wouldn't say a word. She had to be only about three or four years but she should have been speaking then.
Sherlock had somehow been put in charge of the girl, though luckily he had John to help him. He had grown attached to her over t

Mei's POV:
Overwatch HQ was full of energy as everyone was setting up for our big Halloween party. I however was distracted watching (F/N) lift some boxes for Lena. "Yeah, lift with your knees. Give me a good look at that ass.~" I whispered as I continued to stare, and fantasize. Eventually my thoughts drifted to when I first met the former Talon specialist.
